A Man, A Plane, and A Dream

Hear the remarkable story of the first solo around-the-world flight over both the north and south poles by a real aviation legend who lived his dream. Elgen M. Long was also the first to fly solo from Antarctica to Australia. A retired Flying Tigers Air Line captain with 45 years in aviation and almost 45,000 flying hours, Long is the author of Amelia Earhart: The Mystery Solved and will discuss recent efforts to find her lost plane and solve what is certainly aviation’s most enduring mystery. This is a free, public, multi-media event.

Parking and auditorium are accessible. Doors open at 6:30 PM. All ages are welcome.
